Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. You will journey through scenic northern Tanzania to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. On arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive where lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a wide variety of antelope species roam freely. After an early breakfast, enjoy a brief morning game drive before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where dramatic highlands and volcanic landscapes dominate the scenery. Along the way, you may visit a Maasai village, learning about the Maasai people’s traditional lifestyle, cattle grazing practices, and cultural customs. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp in the conservation area, you can relax while admiring views of the surrounding escarpments. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park
Early in the morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world. Afterwards, you will drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the unforgettable wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and cultural experiences from your safari.
